January 26, 2020. Triple Wide T4-40 MultiFruit Pack with a T4-40 Cotton Machine and Header. This is a modified T4-40 harvester and header setup. Made the headers 16.7m wide and foldable. Added potato and sugarcane to the beet harvester and made seperate headers for all 3 crops. Added decals to the back of all the headers to help tell them apart.
The setup is: Combine -> Front lifter -> Trailed lifter -> Adapter -> Bailer. Reasons needed: Front lifter will give you the needed PTO. The Trailed lifter will put the bailer farther back, allowing you to turn the combine. The Adapter will change the 3 point to a ball hitch for the bailer to hook to.
Just got Farming Simulator 22 last night and it feels like the tutorial was a little lacking. Im trying to figure out how to master the AI workers, specially how to get them to load up during a harvest, deliver, and then come back to load up another trailer of grain. I always get AI errors when I try.
A Header Trailer is a type of trailer in Farming Simulator 17 designed specifically to carry Headers, and particularly the long Harvester Headers that cannot easily be transported on roads. Headers tend to be very wide, and transporting them from place to place while mounted on the front of a Harvester is somewhat tricky, as they can snag on trees and lamp-posts on the sides of roads, collide
As simple as the header states. There are only 2 trailers that it can pull. One is the Agroliner HKD 302 which has a pathetic capacity and no way to empty into anything but the ground or a silo. The other is the largest of the cane tippers, which the pipe collides with if you try to pull it. Making turning impossible. And on that subject; Forget trying to hire a helper to run the harvester
Do harvesters only unload into certain trailer sizes. Just bought 19 a week ago and I've been playing FS without helpers, money cheats, or a lot of income generating placeables for the first time. I finally saved up enough for a large tractor and decided to get a bigger tipper to go with it, but my harvester (Case IH 1660 mod) isn't unloading
So I got it to work, I think. Turns out, it was how Windows 11 was zipping and unzipping the files. I have to go in, update the XML, save it, close out of it, and within the unzipped folder, I have to re-zip everything, and then rename the zipped folder as the original, and copy/paste it back in the Mods folder. That appears to be working.
There is a tank that can be pulled by a truck or another tractor that is a mobile fueler, it can be found in miscellaneous under the trailers tab. You can actually tell the worker to drive to the fuel station and it will work even without fuel. It will take some messing around but will be possible.
Re: AI "no field found". This is strange because I used the combination of cultivating, seeding, and power harrowing at once in farm sim 19. It seems the AI in 22 doesn't understand the combination yet. In my case, I just have the AI cultivate first, and the seed/harrow. I hope this is something the devs can fix soon, just slightly annoying to

My only advice is to go in to your control settings and change them to something that feels more intuitive to you.
